Saturday February 20 2010 the world changed for the skateboard. The Bondi Bowl A Rama, one of the most anticipated event for the skater in the world happened again. A week of sun, beach lot, a lot of joy, all the world's elite sktatistas present and to improve the best prize of all Bowl A Rama. The only difference this time was that a boy of 14 who becomes a monster inside of any bowl and appeared in the land of kangaroos.
After a win in Wellington, Pedro Barros came to Australia after two years of visa refusal. Wellington had been a victory for me as a proud father and to Brazil, but still, many professional weight as Bob, Bucky, Omar, etc.. not participated, and that the bowl was not as big as Australia. For me, seeing the pictures of previous years, only a miracle would make Peter face of this bowl.
We spent the whole week was fun. We seek the childhood friends of Peter there in Central Coast and we were all crammed in the smallest hotel room in the world, but it was fun day. Surf, skate and very rank.
Finally the long awaited Saturday. We take our Acai breakfast and went to watch the master track and have to focus for the event. With Brazilian way we can put an entire family of our friends in the VIP stands.
Was awesome to watch master and finally came time for the Pro Division. Otavio crashed in strong heating and deleted a few seconds. He ended up running into another battery. In battery tava with Peter and Omar Hasan was very quiet, all went smoothly just in the final. Otavio has not passed, I found it a bit strange, but Peter and Bob secured the final.
Oh fuck was already in the first round of the Peter he hit a 540, leaving tail shovit bs, bs varial flip, bs and fs varial board, off the line he found absurd the bowl. After that the animal was picked up and there emotion behind the emotion. Peter did not tell anyone arrego, dropava with Rune and he took on the track, along with Bucky dropava and he took the track.
