O MAB-FAAP apresenta, a partir de 16 de maio de 2007, a exposição “Rockers”, que traz cerca de 270 imagens produzidas pelo fotógrafo Bob Gruen, que a mais de 40 anos documenta os bastidores do “Rock and Roll”, as principais bandas, shows, e as personalidades mais marcantes desse gênero musical.

Com a curadoria do músico Supla, a mostra será apresentada em 9 segmentos formando um panorama da carreira do fotógrafo e os vários aspectos do Rock and Roll:

1. introdução

2. Wall ­ com 36 fotos de bandas de rock em geral, de várias épocas, como Tina Turner, Rolling Stones, Kiss, entre outros;

3. Boulevard ­ percorrendo um caminho onde luminárias gigantes servem de suporte para 46 retratos expostos em luminárias gigantes;

4. Cenário laboratório fotográfico, com fotos divididas em três grupos: Bob Gruen, pessoas e fotos recentes, incluindo também alguns objetos, revistas e livros.

5. Cenário de um quarto de adolescente, com pôsters, fotos e revistas;

6. Camarim ­ cenas de bastidores;

7. Sala John Lennon;

8. Sala Punk ­ : fotos de bandas punk, como Patti&Smith, Dead Boys, Devo, Ramones, entre outros;

9. Sala de fotos recentes ­ fotos de personalidades como Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop, Courtney Love, Ryan Adams, entre outros.

EXPO “ROCKERS” AT FAAP

MAB-FAAP – The Brazilian Art Museum presents, from May 16, de 2007, the exhibition “Rockers” which brings around 270 images by photographer Bob Gruen, who has been documenting the Rock and Roll backstage, the main bands, shows, and the most remarkable celebrities of this music genre for over 40 years.

Directed by musician Supla, the exhibition will be presented in 9 segments that outline the scenery of the photographer’s carrier and various aspects of Rock and Roll:

1. Introduction;

2. Wall – around 36 images of rock bands in general, from diverse periods of time, such as Tina Turner, Rolling Stones, Kiss, among others;

3. Boulevard – a path built using giant luminaries which gives support for the 46 exhibited photographs;

4. Laboratory – in a photograph laboratory simulation, the images are divided into three groups: Bob Gruen, people, and recent photos. It also includes some objects, magazines, and books.

5. Teenager’s room – A simulation of a teenager’s room with posters, pictures, and magazines;

6. Dressing room and backstage scenes;

7. John Lennon’s room;

8. Punk room: images of punk bands, such as Patti&Smith, Dead Boys, Devo, Ramones, among others;

9. Room of recent photos – celebrities such as Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop, Courtney Love, Ryan Adams, among others.

Famiglia EVOKE member Teco Padaratz was in Australia for the live broadcast of the WCT by SPORT TV channel, where he could meet with some of the world surfing legends, such as Martin Potter, Peter Towned and seven-time world champion Layne Beachley.

Com um repertório que vai de Sublime a Dead Kennedys passando por Red Hot e Agent Orange, a sonzeira rolou durante horas e fez a cabeca da galera!

Free-surfer and Famiglia member Binho Nunes gathered with Danilo Grilo and the Evoke crew for a historical JAM session at a studio in Vila Madalena, São Paulo. With a selection that included Sublime, Dead Kennedys, Red Hot, and Agent Orange, the session was on for hours and made everybody stoked!
